Kawaii Umbrella

I recently bought the cutest umbrella.  I would buy another one for my upcoming GIVEAWAY if it wouldn't be so hard to ship...  But anyway, here it is:

So cute isn't it?

I need your help ladies!

Today my friend Laura is coming over to watch a movie and make dinner with me.
We are making stir fry, mmm!
Sorry, this picture has nothing to do with anything...

But anyway, we are working our way through all of Hayao Miyazaki's movies and I need help deciding which one to watch today.  So far we've watched:
  • Ponyo
  • Spirited Away
  • Howl's Moving Castle
  • My Neighbor Totoro
  • Kiki's Delivery Service
What's your favorite movie by Hayao Miyazaki?  Which ones have you seen and enjoyed that aren't on my list?  HELP! (:

Blog to check out.

Did you ever wonder what I was doing before I started this blog (No? Yeah... I didn't really think you did)  Well, if you ever did wonder this is the link to my first blog.  It has some cute stuff on it such as nail tutorials and craft projects.  It also has the beginning of my Blythe obsession.  Enjoy!

My new new "office"

I don't know if I've mentioned this already but I move my furniture around a lot.  And I mean a lot.  I get bored and rearrange my house.  So here is my desk and bookshelf back in the spare bedroom. (which is also the kitties dining room and bathroom...)
Tada
The whole corner I've taken over:

I use the boxes from my Japanese snacks to hold my pens and scissors and whatnot.  Spare dollhouse furniture and shelves hold deco items.  My water colours are in a fuzzy pencil case, and my crayons are in a Marc Jacobs makeup case.  A Hello Kitty sugar canister houses my Polymer clay and an old Easter basket keeps my paints organized.

I work at a movie rental place so I get to take home old movie posters.  I hang vintage wrapping paper, a Little Mermaid fannypack and Tootsie Roll string lights from the tacks that hold the posters up.
My desk is kept pretty empty for doing crafts.  I plan on deco-ing the lamp following a tutorial found here

Polymer Clay Kitchen

Today I decided I would make some polymer clay food for the fridge in my dollhouse.  This is the first batch I made:
Oops!
These are some carrots, a slice of cake, a slice of pizza, a croissant, rice, and salmon chunks for sushi.

So then I made more that I did NOT forget about while it was baking:

Carving pumpkins

Today my parents and younger sister came over to carve jack-o-lanterns for Halloween.
My man and I are nerds (okay, I'm a nerd and force him to act like one as well...) so we made LOVELY pumpkins.  Well, you don't care about all this writing so I'll just shut up and show you the photos.

These cats were obsessed with the pumpkins so why not stuff them inside?
 and again
 I am so mean...  Haha.
 Nom nom nom
My stepdad got into it too...  Poor kitties.
 Just hanging out...
 Totoro!!

Everyone's pumpkins.  Left to right: me, my sister, my parents (left side my mum, right side my stepdad) and my man

 Awww!  Luff.
Domino didn't care to eat the pumpkins when we were carving so he checked them out afterwards.
