Birthday pressies.

Oops!  I thought I'd already made a post about my birthday.  Well, over a month ago I turned 22.  I was really sick so I didn't do anything special.  Or anything at all actually.  Buuut, I have for you today photos of what my family gave me.

I got that cupcake cross stitch.  I didn't take a picture of it before I opened it, so I figure there is no need to post the same picture I've already posted...

These are the cards from my parents:

Laura bought me this eraser the other day and I love it!  I'll never take it out of that cute little package either.

Lovely Gifts

It seems everytime that Laura goes shopping without me she brings me back something.  She is a very good friend, I like it.  So anyway, this is what she bought me yesterday:

My mum found this adorable vintage wrapping paper in her stash and gave it to me yesterday as well:

A yummy snack.

Another gift from my lovely friend Laura:
All the other Pocky I had was in english, but the boxes she brought back from Ontario were in Japanese and way cuter.
I don't know what is going on here, but still cuter than the boring old english ones.

Gifts from a friend

My friend and video store coworker Laura went shopping yesterday.  Being a lovely person she brought me back not one but two pressies.  What a lucky lady I am. Picture anyone?
First is some very yummy rose flavored flowering white tea in a super cute bamboo box.  The second item is the first in the Shugo Chara manga series.  Laura and I are watching the anime when we both have a day off.

This really brightened my day since I am have relationship issues at the moment.  Wish me and my baby cat Domino luck as we crash in my family's guest room for a few days.

Cupcakes for Princesses

My friend Jenny Bear went shopping the other day and brought me back the cutest cookbook ever.  It is called Cupcakes for Princesses and it is technically for much younger girls but I love it!  It has such adorable recipes and the way it's written is great.  It's pink and sparkley and comes with templates for icing designs.  I definately reccomend hunting this down if you need a gift for the special little princess in your life (or yourself!).
